Alma S. RigonanMD
Dr. Alma Rigonan is a board-certified physician who has been in practice since 1998. She is a member of the Texas Dermatological Society and worked closely with Dr. James Caplin for more than 7 years at the Corpus Christi Allergy, Asthma, and Dermatology Clinic. Under the guidance of Dr. James Caplin, she was trained on allergy testing, immunotherapy and rhinoscopy. She also trained on the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological conditions and basic skin surgery. She attended De La Salle University College of Medicine and completed her medical training at the University of the Philippines. She graduated with honors and accepted academic positions in the field of psychology and anatomy. Dr. Rigonan completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and published a research on monoclonal antibodies in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Her years of clinical experience and training in the field of allergy testing, immunotherapy and allergic skin diseases led to her being accepted as a member of the Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society, the Pan American Allergy Society, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. She has completed training and workshops by the American Academy of Dermatology. She is currently a physician member of the Medical Dermatology Society and the National Psoriasis Foundation.
